This position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000-$260,000, depending on location and experience. Job Title: National Tax Technical Senior Manager - Partnerships Department: National Tax Company: Moss Adams Job Number: 26603 Experience: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of tax professional experience Location: Multiple locations (California, Colorado, Washington, Remote) Salary Range: $131,000 - $260,000 (California), $140,000 - $215,000 (Colorado), $130,000 - $211,000 (Washington), $130,000 - $215,000 (Remote) H1: Join Moss Adams as a National Tax Technical Senior Manager H2: Champion Authenticity and Make a Difference in Tax Practice Responsibilities: - Serve as a trusted tax technical resource for the firm by developing internal and external relationships and responding to inquiries - Lead resolution of complex tax technical matters with high levels of uncertainty and risk - Collaborate with individuals across the firm to identify and develop opportunities for tax technical services - Conduct technical tax research and communicate findings - Manage projects and provide coaching and development to support tax practice initiatives - Facilitate development and delivery of tax technical training - Develop written tax communications related to technical tax matters and tax law developments - Evaluate implications of new tax law changes and provide recommendations to tax leadership - Participate in internal and external activities to gain recognition within a technical specialization Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, advanced degree in Taxation highly desired - Minimum of 7 years of tax professional experience, preferably in public accounting, law firm, or tax consulting - CPA or Bar License required - Experience coaching and managing a team, including technical development - Advanced knowledge of technical taxation and ability to research tax positions - Familiarity with research software and working with the Internal Revenue code, regulations, and authorities - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously in ambiguous circumstances - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 5%) At Moss Adams, employees are challenged and rewarded for leadership, technical excellence, and inspired perspectives.
