Duties:

  • Counseling public and private employers on day-to-day employment issues
  • Researching and drafting memoranda, pleadings, discovery, and motions
  • Handling litigation matters related to employment disputes
  • Providing legal advice on unfair labor practices and collective bargaining agreements

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law
  • Experience with a broad range of employment issues
  • Litigation experience in researching and drafting legal documents
  • Detail-oriented with a solid work ethic
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar
  • Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Outstanding judgment and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to develop and implement legal strategies
  • Admission to other State Bars, particularly California, is a plus
