In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most ambitious sustainability challenges in the world. You will be responsible for providing legal support to Amazon's Social Responsibility (SR) team, with a focus on driving customer trust, business continuity, and sustainable social impact. This includes embedding respect for human rights and the environment throughout Amazon's entire value chain.

Salary Information:

• Base pay ranges from $123,100/year to $229,000/year
• Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package
• Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

Experience Information:

• . degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar
• 5+ years of legal experience

• Strategically advise and partner with SR leaders to develop, shape, and scale Amazon's SR programs, human rights strategy, and risk management systems

• Serve as a centralized legal resource for teams across Amazon on social responsibility and human rights issues

• Experience advising on ESG transparency and reporting requirements
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in working closely with and advising senior business leadership
• Outstanding legal and business judgment and strong analytical skills, even in ambiguous situations
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
