Seattle office of our client seeks a family law senior attorney with 10 years of experience. Experience in court, including motions on the Family Law Motions Calendar and before assigned Judges is required. The candidate will actively handle all aspects of a client's case, including PNC consults, communicating with parties, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for, and attending hearings, mediations, and trials. Establish positive and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts. Effectively apply legal solutions to clients' issues. Research case law, draft correspondence, and draft/file pleadings. Effectively represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials. Consult with and retain new clients. Work with support staff to accurately calendar all hearings, filing deadlines, and other key dates. Take ownership of assignments and execute them timely. Manage attorneys in the firm. Must have a license to practice law in Washington state.
