Position Summary:

- Seeking a Legal Business Associate with a background in legal and/or technology solutions to join our Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team.
- The role involves working with a team to provide an integrated approach to technology implementations, automation, data wrangling, and document extraction for legal departments.
- The Legal Business Associate will also assist with project management tasks, provide training and software support, and contribute to business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Client Management: Interact with client project team members and Deloitte project leadership.
- Delivery: Optimize tax and legal processes by leveraging technology and aligning software with client requirements and goals.
- Solutions: Develop and utilize automation and innovative solutions to increase efficiency in tax and legal departments.
- Support: Provide training and support for day-to-day activities related to processes and technologies.
- Project Management: Assist with project management tasks such as creating work plans, tracking budgeted time, and writing status reports.
- Cross Functional Teaming: Understand and communicate the broader practice and Deloitte overall to maintain holistic relationships with clients.
- People Development: Participate in the development of team members.
- Business Development: Contribute to pursuit teams.

The Team:

- Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice helps tax departments improve efficiency and position tax as a strategic business advisor.
- The team offers a combination of tax technical and technology skillsets to address clients' unique needs and obligations.
- TTC's services include operating model evaluation, roadmap development, data management solutions, automation opportunities, risk, and compliance.
- The team is aligned across Deloitte's global network of member firms to support clients' objectives and challenges.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-person collaboration 2-3 days per week.
- 3+ years of experience in legal and/or technology solutions.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Agiloft, SirionOne, Icertis, document extraction tools, data wrangling tools, visualization/BI tools, DocuSign CLM, or Salesforce configuration.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, procurement/legal procurement, SAS Certified Data Scientist, or paralegal certification.
- Technical certifications: Six Sigma, MCSD, CSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, CCMP, SAS Certified Data Scientist, DocuSign, iCertis, Onit Product Suite, Conga CLM, Agiloft, Sirion Labs, Kira, Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer Passport, or Mitratech Team Connect and TAP.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree in related field.
- Experience with template rationalization and harmonization, guide or playbook creation, and contracting process design.
