Job Overview: A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with experience in State and Federal litigation, particularly in Business litigation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, versatile, and possess significant experience in handling various litigation matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients with sound legal advice and strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery processes, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Assist in the negotiation and settlement of disputes when appropriate.
• Stay updated on changes in the law and legal trends relevant to litigation practice areas.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
• Experience practicing law, focusing on litigation.
• Experience in State and Federal litigation, preferably with a concentration in Business litigation.
• Familiarity with Government Tort Claims and Civil Rights litigation is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications:
