Our Role:

- Ensure legal compliance and protection of our company's sensitive information, intellectual property, customer data, and products & services.
- Collaborate with legal, technology, and business units to implement robust security measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information security and cybersecurity.
- Lead legal support for all of SIE's corporate information technologies and products, services, and network security.
- Manage and coordinate legal aspects of cybersecurity incidents or breaches.
- Assess legal risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to information security and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with the Privacy team to ensure alignment between information security and privacy practices.
- Monitor and interpret information security and cybersecurity regulations and develop compliance programs.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on legal aspects of information security and cybersecurity.
- Provide legal support in any information security or cybersecurity-related litigation.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (.) degree and admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience practicing law and 6 years of experience with a focus on information security, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
- Strong understanding of information security and cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in negotiating contracts related to information security and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CIPP) are a plus.
