A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Gilbert, Arizona. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Arizona and possess the ability to handle a full caseload of family law cases from start to finish. They should be proficient in quickly and accurately drafting legal documents, arguing effectively, and conducting thorough research on case and statutory law.

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of family law cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice and representation
• Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests
• Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to family law matters
• Stay informed about developments in family law and legal procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation
• Attend continuing legal education programs to enhance professional knowledge and skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar and in good standing
• 1+ years of experience practicing family law
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and research skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents quickly and accurately
• Ability to argue effectively in court
