Position Summary:
- Seeking experienced tax professionals for the position of Senior Tax Consultant
- Opportunity to work within an engagement team and utilize the latest tax technologies in the real estate industry
- Responsibilities include providing tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients

Work You'll Do:
- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Perform detail-level reviews of partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns
- Prepare materials and research for consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts as required to gather information for tax returns
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff
- Attend required Deloitte Tax LLP and sector-specific trainings

- Cross-functional industry group comprised of over 2,800 partners, managers, and staff
- Provides a spectrum of assurance and advisory, tax, enterprise risk, regulatory, and consulting services to a broad range of Investment Management companies

Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Ability to demonstrate basic understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and the tax compliance process for real estate funds
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, or in process, or must be able and willing to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications:
- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
