Job Title: eDiscovery Attorney
Location: Denver, CO

Job Overview:

The eDiscovery Attorney will manage eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations. They will utilize eDiscovery review platforms, advise legal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations. Additionally, they will serve as a subject matter expert, implement custom workflows, and contribute to continuous improvements in eDiscovery processes.

Duties:

  • Utilize eDiscovery review platforms, including Relativity, Recommind, and other analytics tools such as TAR, predictive coding, and Early Case Assessment.
  • Handle data processing and document processing efficiently and effectively.
  • Advise legal, compliance, and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies in compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Work with eDiscovery processes and current & evolving eDiscovery technologies, understanding their interrelation with other disciplines such as Information Governance, Data Protection, Data Security, IT, and Compliance.
  • Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics, assisting with the onboarding and training new and existing customers.
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence.
  • Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides, and review workflows.

Requirements:

  • JD degree
  • Ideally, 5 years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)
  • Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and jurisprudence
  • Demonstrated understanding of eDiscovery practices and technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion
  • Proven ability to identify continuous improvements in policies and processes and execute those improvements

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in eDiscovery review platforms (., Relativity, Recommind)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
