Duties/Responsibilities: - Work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on matters that are important to them - Diversify your industry experience by working with various industries such as private equity, healthcare, tech, and more - Assist clients with public offering transactions and interact with external counsel, underwriters, client executives, and capital market professionals through the SEC public filing process - Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process, including tax receivable agreements - Create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience - Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients, with emphasis on identifying and communicating technical tax and service issues - Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation - Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance various Deloitte initiatives Qualifications/Requirements: - Ability to work in a hybrid model, with US Tax professionals co-locating in person 2-3 days per week - 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax - Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field - Strong problem-solving skills - Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio - Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment - Strong research skills - Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served - One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: - Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office - Licensed attorney - Enrolled Agent - Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree such as master's in science of tax (MST), JD, or LLM - Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm - Transaction and M&A experience - Alteryx experience Salary Information: The wage range for this role takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may vary based on geographic location and does not include any applicable geographic differentials. The current range for this position is $77,070 to $175,500, with the potential for participation in a discretionary annual incentive program.
