Amazon is looking for an experienced Corporate Counsel to join the Legal team supporting Project Kuiper. This Corporate Counsel will have significant transactional experience with internet service/telecommunications compliance and government counterparties. The position may be based in Arlington, VA (HQ2) or Redmond, WA and may require some travel, domestic and international.

## Qualifications

- . degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar
- 5+ years’ experience as a regulatory or compliance attorney, including 3+ years’ experience representing communications companies on regulatory or compliance matters

## Preferred Qualifications

- A mix of law firm and in-house experience a plus
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Excited and passionate about innovating on behalf of our customers
- Strong written and oral communication skills

## Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $123,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company and may provide additional forms of compensation such as equity, sign-on payments, and benefits.
