Job Overview:

The Financial Services Enforcement/Litigation Associate Attorney will be crucial in handling legal matters related to financial services, focusing on enforcement and litigation. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school and demonstrate specific experience in financial services. Experience with government agencies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory agencies, or a state attorney general is highly valued. Candidates should also have a demonstrated background or interest in financial services matters.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on financial services laws and regulations.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs related to financial services enforcement and litigation matters.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on financial services compliance matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
• Stay updated on developments in financial services law and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.
• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial services enforcement and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
