The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree, a minimum of 7 years of solid experience in medium to large-size law firms specializing in employment law, and possess a license to practice law in Colorado. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal counsel on multi-state employment law compliance, drafting various employment-related documents, managing investigations, and representing clients in litigation matters. Duties:

  • Analyze, update, and assist clients with multi-state employment law compliance.
  • Draft and advice on executive employment, IP protection, independent contractor, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements.
  • Draft and advice on handbooks, policies, and procedures, including anti-harassment programs and leave laws.
  • Manage Employment Group investigations and employer-client responses to EEOC, CDLE, and similar agency complaints.
  • Manage litigation, including pursuing and defending employment-related claims and attending depositions.
  • Conduct and advise through equal pay and employee disparate treatment audits, providing support through reductions in force.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree.
  • 7+ years of solid experience in a medium to large-size law firm in the area of employment law.
  • Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado.
