Duties:

• Civil Litigation:

  • Handle and manage civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court proceedings.

• Client Interaction:

  • Interact with clients to understand their legal needs and objectives.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance, ensuring client satisfaction.

• Independence and Initiative:

  • Work independently on cases and demonstrate proactive initiative.
  • Take ownership of assigned matters and drive them to successful outcomes.

• Legal Writing:

  • Exhibit strong legal writing skills in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.

• Computer Proficiency:

  • Utilize legal software and technology efficiently.
  • Stay current with advancements in legal technology and integrate them into the practice.

• Family Law Support:

  • If applicable, leverage family law experience to support or enhance the firm's family law practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on multidisciplinary legal matters.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation.

• Bar Membership:

  • Must be a member of the California Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Skills:
