A law firm in Los Angeles is currently seeking an experienced Employment and Labor Attorney with 3-5 years of broad expertise in both employment litigation and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional communication and legal writing skills, and be a member of the California Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on employment and labor laws.
  • Develop and manage employment-related cases from initiation to resolution.
  • Engage in all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Conduct witness interviews and investigations as necessary.
  • Draft legal briefs and other documents for court proceedings.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on employment-related matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in case development, legal research and writing, all aspects of discovery, witness interviews or investigations, and brief writing.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (.) degree.
  • Current admittance to the California Bar is required.
  • 3-5 years of broad experience in employment litigation and counseling.
  • Expertise in California employment law and complex litigation practice, including class and representative actions.
