The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for managing a team of attorneys in the Los Angeles area, ensuring competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all assigned cases. This role will also involve providing assistance to the Managing Attorney, training and supervising other attorneys in the office, and performing delegated administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a Senior Trial Attorney or comparable outside experience, as well as some management experience or demonstrated aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of attorneys, making case assignments based on skill and expertise levels
- Train and supervise attorneys to improve their level of expertise
- Perform managerial and administrative tasks as assigned by the Managing Attorney
- Consult with and provide opinions to the Claims Department on insurance policy and personal injury claim matters
- Supervise and handle cases of greatest complexity and/or exposure
- Functionally supervise other attorneys who are assisting in particular cases
- Perform other functions as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required, with a law school degree and active State Bar membership
- At least two years of experience as a Senior Trial Attorney or comparable outside experience
- Some management experience or demonstrated aptitude
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle cases with the greatest complexity and/or exposure levels
- Experience with computerized litigation support systems
- Ability to work in a virtual or office setting, with the physical abilities to operate a computer and perform tasks as needed
