A law firm is seeking an Internet Strategy And Litigation Associate Attorney for their Palo Alto, CA office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in cases and investigations concerning Internet law, privacy, data security, copyright, artificial intelligence, platform liability, and First Amendment issues. They will have the opportunity to work with clients ranging from industry leaders to early-stage start-ups, and a host of others in between, from the US and around the world. The ideal candidate must have stellar academic credentials and possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Duties:

• Handle cases and investigations related to Internet law, privacy, data security, copyright, artificial intelligence, platform liability, and First Amendment issues.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve client objectives.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 5-7 years of experience in cases and investigations concerning Internet law, privacy, data security, copyright, artificial intelligence, platform liability, and First Amendment issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Education:
