Job Title: Tax Senior Associate - International Tax
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning

KPMG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our International Tax practice. Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location and operation, entity selection, supply chain optimization, and accessing capital for global operations, taking into account tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash position
• Advise clients on tax planning decisions, anticipating and understanding potential short- and long-term consequences at a global level and considering overall business objectives, tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash position
• Collaborate with Mergers & Acquisition Tax team to structure tax aspects of private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs, while also drafting tax opinions, memos, structure decks, and Excel models
• Assist multinational enterprises with tax provision for financial statements and review compliance materials, as well as work with KPMG audit teams to review tax implications of global operations and transactions
• Advise clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities for inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading
• Provide similar services to alternative investment companies, assisting at all stages of investment life cycle for asset managers and portfolio companies operating globally

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university; preferred: Masters in Taxation, JD, or LLM with concentration in tax
• Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax laws
• Excellent research and writing skills, proficiency in Excel modeling, and strong oral communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, lead client service teams, supervise and mentor new and experienced staff, and maintain professionalism and excellent client service
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and expand KPMG's presence in local and global markets, working with both . and . teams

• Salary is determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, prior experience, degrees/certifications, and market conditions
