We are currently seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team in Davidson, NC. In this role, you will support the Global Procurement Organization by efficiently reviewing contracts, driving consistency in contract management, advising on contract risks, and negotiating contracts with the organization. You will also assist in managing and improving standard legal work, processes, and tools within the organization and recommend improvements to policies, templates, and processes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Support the Global Procurement Organization as a member of the Corporate Contracts Americas Legal Team. • Efficiently review contracts and drive consistency in the contract management process. • Advise procurement and business stakeholders on contract risks and negotiate contracts. • Specialize in IT contracts and have proficiency in professional services and other supply agreements. • Manage and improve standard legal work, processes, and tools within the Global Procurement Organization. • Recommend improvements to policies, templates, and processes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. • Work closely with the Global Procurement Organization to implement best-in-class solutions and training to improve supplier contract processes and reduce legal risks. • Provide support to internal clients and legal colleagues on disputes, litigation, and compliance matters. Qualifications: • . degree from an accredited US or Canadian law school. • Good standing member of a State Bar Association. • Minimum of 5+ years related experience, with at least 1 year in-house experience preferred. • Strong contract review, drafting, and negotiation skills. • Experience with IT contracts, including Software/SaaS agreements, and knowledge of data privacy and security standards, laws, regulations, and requirements. • Proven experience in commercial and transactional matters. • Working knowledge of various other supplier contracts. • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. • Strong legal and analytical skills. • Ability to stand firm on issues with business clients when necessary. • Business-oriented approach to problem-solving. • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills. • Ability to work well under pressure and manage workload in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently and with colleagues at all levels. • Flexible and adaptable.
