A law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Walnut Creek, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct fact investigations to gather relevant information for cases
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
  • Prepare for and participate in pretrial and trial proceedings
  • Work collaboratively with a team to support and mentor junior associates
  • Continuously hone litigation skills and legal knowledge

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited . law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing

 

Experience:

  • Approximately 2-5 years' litigation experience
  • Preferably in business and/or commercial real estate litigation

 

Skills:

  • Excellent writing and analysis skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment

 

Certifications:

Membership in the California State Bar
