Duties:

  • Conducted patent prosecution activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on intellectual property matters, specifically patents.
  • Conduct patentability and prior art searches to assess the novelty of inventions.
  • Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand the technical aspects of inventions.
  • Manage patent portfolios and guide patent strategy.
  • Analyze patent infringement issues and support litigation efforts as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Experience in patent prosecution related to 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a focus on law and/or electrical engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Registered with the United States Patent Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligible for registration.
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the Bar or eligible for waiver.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
