Huntington Park office of our client seeks a lead associate immigration attorney with 4-5 years of relevant experience. The candidate will provide immigration, naturalization and citizenship advise by conducting legal research; keeping clients and staff abreast of changing regulations; providing explanations of immigration and naturalization and citizenship requirements; obtaining and retaining immigration and naturalization clients by following up on referrals; understanding immigration and naturalization laws; presenting legal options; and maintaining rapport. Experience in criminal defense is preferred. The desire to make appearances at all master calendars and merits hearings is required. Should have the ability to: manage a large Immigration Court and USCIS caseload; appear at adjustment of status and citizenship interviews; and write motions to reopen and appeals with AAO, EOIR, BIA and write I601A waivers and other inadmissibility waivers. California State Bar admission is essential. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are required.
