Job Overview: A law firm based in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, And Data Associate Attorney to play a pivotal role in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters. The ideal candidate will help clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations.

Duties:

• Advise clients on cybersecurity laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Assist in incident response investigations and mitigation efforts.
• Draft and review contracts, policies, and data privacy and security procedures.
• Conduct legal research on emerging issues in cyber law and privacy.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and cyber and data privacy litigation.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
• Membership to the CA State Bar.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Superb oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership to the CA State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in cybersecurity laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with incident response protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
