The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking both junior and senior attorneys for our Solicitor General Unit. This is a unique opportunity for smart and dedicated attorneys to serve the public, appear before the highest courts in Oklahoma and the United States, and help establish precedent on the most important constitutional issues of our time.

Position Summary:

The Solicitor General Unit represents the interests of the State of Oklahoma in appeals in state and federal court, including at the Oklahoma Supreme Court and . Supreme Court. The Unit also litigates constitutional issues, such as the defense of state laws, in trial courts. The Solicitor General Unit plays a key role in the State’s interaction with the federal government, other States, and Native American Tribes, through litigation, amicus briefs, official letters, and cooperative efforts.

Qualification and Experience Applicants must be licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma, or be willing to become licensed at the next available opportunity.
