A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Associate Attorney who is a member in good standing of the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, or Washington State Bar. The candidate should have a strong understanding of consumer credit collections, state laws related to consumer collections, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). This role involves utilizing the firm's case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters, along with occasional court appearances and travel.

Job Details:

• Utilize the firm's case management and reporting software actively to manage assigned legal matters.
• Attend court appearances as necessary and fulfill associated travel requirements.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of consumer credit collections, relevant state laws, and the FDCPA.
• Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred for this position.

Duties:

• Manage assigned legal matters efficiently using the firm's case management and reporting software.
• Attend court appearances and handle related travel arrangements.
• Apply expertise in consumer credit collections and relevant state laws to provide effective legal representation.
• Ensure compliance with the FDCPA and other applicable regulations.

Requirements:

• Member in good standing of the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, or Washington State Bar.
• Strong understanding of consumer credit collections, state laws, and the FDCPA.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, or Washington State Bar.
