A law firm in Arcadia, CA, is actively seeking an Associate Attorney who is a California-licensed attorney with experience in litigation and law and motion practice. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an ABA-accredited law school, ranked in the top 20% of the class, and received a B+ or better in research and writing. This role requires excellent research and writing abilities, and a background in landlord/tenant and/or real estate matters is highly desired and preferred. Trial experience is also preferred for this position.

Duties

• Handle litigation cases and participate in law and motion practice.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Provide counsel to clients on landlord/tenant and real estate matters.
• Collaborate with legal professionals to develop effective case strategies.

Requirements

• California licensed attorney.
• Graduated from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Ranked in the top 20% of the class.
• Received a B+ or better in research and writing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of California.

Skills
