Duties:

  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing for various cases and matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
  • Advise clients on legal issues and provide guidance on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure effective representation of clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of municipal law experience.
  • Experience with public agencies and/or private firms preferred.
  • Membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school.

Education/Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
