This role requires the ability to handle a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively, except for immigration cases. The candidate should be a self-starter committed to resolving clients' legal issues, maintaining a large caseload, and ensuring clients are well-informed throughout the process. Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) membership is a requirement, and private practice experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is considered a plus.

Duties:

  • Practice family law, criminal defense, general civil litigation, probate and elder law, and estate planning.

  • Manage and advance a diverse caseload toward resolution.
  • Keep clients regularly informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Demonstrate exceptional lawyering capabilities and legal problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive legal strategies.
  • Provide legal representation in court, as necessary.
  • Perform legal research, analysis, and document preparation.

Requirements:

  • WSBA membership is required.
  • Prior private practice experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong motivation, ambition, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
  • Self-starter mentality and a drive to resolve clients' legal problems.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
