The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in handling various litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense.

Duties:

• Manage and litigate a caseload of general liability defense cases.
• Collaborate with experienced partners to develop litigation strategies and provide client-focused legal representation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions.
• Negotiate settlements and settlement agreements when appropriate.
• Stay current with changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
• Experience in general liability defense litigation.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a caseload independently.
• Team player with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Louisiana State Bar.
