Director, Senior Corporate Counsel - Drafting and Negotiating Technology Contracts - Denver, Colorado

If so, then DaVita may have the perfect opportunity for you as our Senior Corporate Counsel in Commercial Contracting.

As a member of the well-regarded legal department at DaVita, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management and be a key strategic business partner. You will be responsible for driving technology transactions and negotiating a broad range of complex technology supplier contracts for use in a healthcare services environment. Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate a variety of complex technology agreements, including cloud computing, software licensing, and IT professional services contracts.
• Work closely with internal business teams to provide strategic advice and guidance on legal and business risks.
• Facilitate input from subject matter experts throughout the negotiation process.
• Develop creative solutions and mitigation strategies for key negotiation points.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
• Assist in process improvement and best practices for commercial contracting.
• Participate in various projects and work streams as assigned.

Qualifications:
• . degree and a minimum of six years of legal experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• In-house experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Experience with drafting and negotiating technology agreements preferred.
• General understanding of relevant healthcare compliance issues (., Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA) preferred.
• State bar passage and good standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Salary Range:
$121, - $177, / year

Compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
