Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various aspects of transportation law, general liability, personal injury defense, or product liability defense litigation.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.
• Attend court appearances, representing clients in hearings and trials as necessary.
• Participate in mediation, negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
• Draft and oppose motions, including but not limited to motions for summary judgment, motions to compel discovery, and motions in limine.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 2-12 years of experience practicing law, focusing on transportation law, general liability, personal injury defense, or product liability defense litigation.
• Proven track record of taking and defending depositions, attending court appearances, attending mediations, and drafting/opposing motions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
