Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing construction law.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting, negotiating, and litigating construction contracts and claims.
  • Proficiency in handling various construction-related legal matters, including regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.
  • Familiarity with AIA forms and LEED certification is preferred.
  • Experience defending matters before the Construction Board is advantageous.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
