A law firm in Fairfax, VA, is seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney with 1 year of experience in drafting/writing legal documents. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated interest in immigration law, excellent legal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding legal services to clients. They will provide legal advice and guidance on immigration matters, prepare and file immigration petitions, conduct legal research and analysis, monitor policy changes, collaborate with colleagues, and build client relationships.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on immigration matters
• Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents with government agencies
• Conduct legal research and analysis of immigration laws, regulations, and policies
• Monitor immigration policy changes and provide guidance on compliance
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient representation of clients
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients
• Handle a significant caseload and meet minimum case completion metrics
• Work with paralegals through case processes
• Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to work within a team setting

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in Virginia in good standing
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• 1 year experience in drafting/writing legal documents
