A law firm in Saint Louis, MO, seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest ethical standards, provide zealous advocacy for clients, and manage a diverse caseload from pre-litigation to trial.

Duties

• Maintain ethical standards and provide zealous advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Manage an inventory of cases, overseeing matters from pre-litigation to trial.
• Guide clients through the case process with frequent communication, empathy, and wisdom.
• Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation, including insurance policies, lien language, and settlement releases.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
• Regularly consult with adjusters, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties to effectively move cases forward.
• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• An active member in good standing with the MO State Bar Association.
• Preferably maintaining an IL license.
• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
