In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering global data protection and privacy strategies, building cross-cultural functionality for clients, managing project teams, and ensuring timely and high-quality work product for clients. You will also be responsible for establishing new relationships to drive new opportunities for BDO, managing client expectations, and mentoring team members to ensure consistent quality work product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver global data protection and privacy strategies to client C-suite/board
• Build cross-cultural functionality for clients to operationalize global privacy programs
• Manage project teams and ensure timely and high-quality work product for clients
• Establish new relationships to drive new opportunities for BDO
• Manage and maintain relationships with client professionals
• Ensure clients receive timely and thoughtful responses to inquiries and requests
• Build relationships with other BDO professionals and participate in industry events
• Mentor team members to ensure consistent quality work product
• Manage multiple large, complex and potentially long-term engagements and clients
• Support the Data Protection Officer for clients, as required
• Develop and manage project budgets and review invoices
• Act as a leader and project a professional, positive attitude towards clients and firm personnel

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's or JD/MBA preferred
• 10+ years of consulting experience required, 3+ years of data protection or privacy experience required
• Experience working with Fortune 500 clients preferred
• 5+ years of experience managing large, complex privacy projects required
• One or more privacy certifications required (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE)
• Knowledge of privacy enabled technology solutions preferred
