The General Insurance division offers a wide range of insurance products and services to commercial and personal customers through a diverse distribution network. About the Role: The Early Career General Insurance Claims Analyst position is a two-year program designed to provide a platform for entry-level professionals to launch their careers at AIG. The program offers a variety of development opportunities, including innovative learning, technical training, performance assessments, mentoring, and exposure to senior leaders. Responsibilities: - Manage litigation from filing a complaint to appeals, including evaluating claims, overseeing litigation, and negotiating resolutions. - Track and report on legislative and regulatory developments and industry trends. - Maintain best practices for consistency throughout claims and the business. - Ensure appropriate claims payments, adequate reserving, and reduction of claim costs. - Monitor claims and respond to client inquiries to maintain and acquire business relationships. - Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and adjusters to assess risks, set prices, investigate, and settle claims. - Work with business partners, lawyers, and HR on policy issues. - Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to fulfill projects and programs. - Provide support for data and operations to analyze key metrics for customer excellence.
