Amazon Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Risk Manager to join our Global Risk Management Claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading strategy on complex auto claims and handling pre-litigation disputes, as well as resolving litigated claims with cross-functional partners. You will need a strong working knowledge of commercial auto insurance policies and experience with large transportation fleets. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee complex and high value claims
• Develop strategy and action plans for claims in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Attend mediations with legal partners, insurance companies, and TPAs
• Address ongoing questions and issues from business partners throughout the claims resolution process
• Partner with other internal teams to develop efficient processes and strategies

Requirements:
•
• Active membership in at least one state bar
• 5+ years of experience in transportation claims
• Strong understanding of the litigation process

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs
• Excellent communication skills

Our compensation is based on the cost of labor in different geographic markets across the US. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year to $185,000/year, depending on the market location and experience. Pay is determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
