Job Title: - Tax Senior - Business Tax Services - Federal/Corporate Tax Position Summary: - Seeking a strategic and creative federal tax professional with experience in solving complex federal tax issues for large global and dynamic midsize clients across various industries. This role involves providing federal tax compliance and consulting services, and requires knowledge in areas such as accounting for income taxes, tax advisory, and tax controversy. Responsibilities: - Reviewing and coordinating federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals - Assisting with tax planning and compliance data gathering for clients - Reviewing income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 - Researching federal tax legislation and its impact on compliance and consulting - Assisting with various tax consulting projects, including research and writing related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes - Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns - Co-locating in person 2-3 days per week as part of a hybrid work model - May require up to 25% travel, depending on client and industry served The Team: - Deloitte Tax LLP's Business Tax Services team is a dynamic group with professionals from diverse backgrounds, providing expertise to clients on integrating tax strategy into their business operations.
