Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to manage plaintiff personal injury caseloads, interact with insurance companies and defense counsel, and represent clients in various legal proceedings. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Job Details:

• Manage plaintiff personal injury caseloads from the claim process through litigation and trial.
• Interact and negotiate with insurance companies and defense counsel.
• Communicate and maintain positive client relationships.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as required.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have an active license to practice law in Missouri.
• 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• An active license in Kansas is preferred.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
• Preferably, active license in Kansas.
