Job Title: Tax Senior - Financial Services Industries - Hedge Fund Tax (Central Region Locations)
Experience: 3+ years
Salary Range: $63,420 - $126,620
Job Availability: 29 locations

Position Summary:

- Seeking a leader with a passion for financial products and tax planning in the Hedge Fund industry
- Responsible for identifying complex tax issues and providing tax analyses for hedge fund clients and their affiliates
- Must have a solid understanding of Subchapter K, financial products, and aggregate allocations
- Will review tax workpapers, allocations, and returns and perform research with support from the Washington National Tax group
- Build relationships with clients and train, mentor, and supervise staff

The Team:

- Global leaders in providing professional services to the Investment Management industry
- Comprised of over 1,400 partners, principals, and employees providing tax services to a broad range of Investment Management companies

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in-person 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning or preparing and reviewing tax workpapers and returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Licensed CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on client and industry/sector needs

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 firm
- Knowledge of Subchapter K, financial products, and aggregate allocations
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting

Salary Information:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, licensure/certifications, and organizational needs
- Estimate range is $63,420 - $126,620
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
