A law firm in Seattle is seeking a motivated Mid-level Business Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join the Mergers and acquisitions and corporate law practice. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in M&A and general business work with middle-market private companies. The firm offers a friendly and collegial team of experienced lawyers who provide mentoring guidance and opportunities for increasing levels of responsibility. The candidate should be self-motivated, possess a desire to provide high-quality service and welcome the opportunity to interact directly with clients.

Duties:

• Draft disclosure schedules, purchase agreements, and other M&A agreements.
• Draft corporate and LLC formation documents.
• Provide support in Mergers and acquisitions and general business matters.
• Interact directly with clients and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a friendly and collegial team of experienced lawyers.
• Assume increasing levels of responsibility with mentoring guidance.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate law.
• Strong interest in M&A and general business work with middle-market private companies.
• Experience in drafting disclosure schedules, purchase agreements, and other M&A agreements.
• Experience in drafting corporate and LLC formation documents.
• Self-motivated individual with a desire to provide high-quality service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admitted to the State Bar of Washington.

Skills:

• Experience in M&A and general business work.
