A law firm in Charleston, WV, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate should have litigation experience commensurate with their time in practice, strong writing and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, and a desire to appear in court. Experience with litigation in federal courts and complex, high-profile, high-dollar litigation is particularly helpful. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in West Virginia.

Duties:

• Handle litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Communicate with clients and opposing parties.
• Work on complex, high-profile, high-dollar litigation matters.
• Provide timely and strategic legal advice.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of legal experience.
• Strong litigation skills and experience.
