Summary:

Moss Adams is currently seeking a National Tax Technical Senior Manager to join their team. This role involves providing technical expertise in tax matters and collaborating with team members across the firm to drive resolution of complex tax issues. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of tax professional experience and hold a CPA or Bar License. This position offers a competitive compensation range of $131,000 - $260,000 for California, $140,000 - $215,000 for Colorado, $130,000 - $211,000 for Washington, and $130,000 - $215,000 for Remote locations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted tax technical resource for the firm
• Drive resolution of complex tax technical matters
• Collaborate with team members at all levels to identify and develop opportunities for tax technical services
• Lead technical tax research and communicate findings
• Manage projects and provide coaching and development to team members
• Facilitate tax technical training
• Develop written tax communications related to technical tax matters
• Evaluate implications of new tax law changes and provide recommendations to tax leadership
• Conduct technical research and communicate findings
• Participate in internal and external activities to gain visibility and recognition within a technical specialization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of tax professional experience
• CPA or Bar License required
• Experience coaching and managing a team
• Advanced knowledge of technical taxation and ability to research tax positions
• Familiarity with research software and working with the Internal Revenue code, regulations, and authorities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous circumstances
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
