Tax Senior - Credits & Incentives at Deloitte

Deloitte is currently seeking a Tax Senior to join our Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (“Gi3”) practice, which provides comprehensive tax credits and incentives services to clients across over 150 countries and regions. With over 1,000 practitioners, the Gi3 tax team is a national team of specialists dedicated to helping clients navigate the complex landscape of government credits and incentives.

As a Tax Senior, you will identify eligible federal C&I generating activities and manage and facilitate the analysis and documentation of such opportunities. You will also work with an experienced and passionate team to proactively collaborate with colleagues across all member firms – Tax, Advisory, Consulting, and Audit and Assurance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in a related field. They should also have proven knowledge of R&D tax incentives experience and/or experience with New Markets Tax Credits, Qualified Opportunity Zones, or Renewable Energy tax credits. An advanced degree and experience with tax technical research are preferred.

This role will require the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, with the expectation of co-locating in person 2-3 days per week. Travel up to 25% may also be required, depending on the work and clients served.

The wage range for this role is $66,570 - $151,580, with the potential to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
