Associate General Counsel for Trade Compliance - San Jose, Irvine, and Boise Locations Job Title: Associate General Counsel for Trade Compliance Location: San Jose, California, United States of America • Irvine, California, United States of America • Boise, Idaho, United States of America Overview: Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their Global Trade Compliance team. This role will provide strategic guidance on Micron's trade compliance program and ensure adherence to various import/export laws and regulations. Responsibilities: - Lead global trade compliance efforts to support business objectives and comply with international legal requirements for imports and exports - Develop process improvements, policies, and procedures to integrate trade compliance into business functions - Collaborate with Micron's business functions to ensure compliance with local, regional, and global trade regulations - Manage economic sanctions program operations, including screening and training - Provide guidance on content origin and liaise with global team on implementation - Oversee trade compliance program initiatives and internal controls - Conduct self-assessments and audits, and implement process enhancements and corrective actions - Develop and deliver trade compliance training to internal stakeholders Qualifications: - required - 5-10+ years of experience in export controls and economic sanctions compliance - Expertise in US trade regulations and understanding of APAC and EU regulations - Project management and SAP experience preferred - Ability to develop and deliver training and briefings - Self-motivated and able to make impactful decisions - Flexible and able to balance multiple priorities - Must be a ". Person" as defined by ITAR and EAR - Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed Salary Range: The US base salary range for this position is $146, - $274,, determined by role, level, and location. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.
