The Intellectual Property Transactional Associate Attorney will primarily focus on intellectual property (IP) licensing and transactional matters, including IP purchase/sale, IP licensing, IT, manufacturing, and distribution agreements. Strong academic performance and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

 

Duties:

  • Handle intellectual property (IP) licensing and transactional matters
  • Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing agreements, IT agreements, and distribution agreements
  • Conduct due diligence for IP transactions
  • Advise clients on IP-related legal issues
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve business objectives

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in intellectual property (IP) licensing and transactional matters
  • Excellent academic performance
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal agreements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively
