Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of employment disputes, including risk assessment and development of litigation defense strategies, effective management of external legal counsel, and working cross-functionally to manage e-discovery issues. - Serve as a strong contributor on legal compliance matters relating to employment law issues. - Help to build and manage internal processes and policies to efficiently and effectively manage our growing litigation caseload. - Work cross-functionally to create, lead, or support training on global employment law issues. - Provide strategic and practical legal advice to Human Resources and business stakeholders globally. - Handle employment litigation matters in multiple jurisdictions, through all stages of litigation, including trial, and represent multi-national companies involved in complex disputes with outstanding outcomes. - Conduct thorough and privileged investigations of employment-related matters. - Collaborate with colleagues from the Global Legal team and business stakeholders. - Craft persuasive and concise briefs with exceptional legal writing skills. - Ensure compliance with company culture and values, and create an efficient and inspiring work environment. - Support employees to give their best in both work and life. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school (or foreign equivalent) with membership in good standing in a US State Bar. - Deep understanding of employment law and substantial employment law experience in both private practice with a highly regarded firm and a corporate legal department. - Experience taking matters through trial or binding arbitration. - Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills. - Strong ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills, including exceptional legal writing skills.
