## Tax Senior - Investment Management - Private Equity Tax

Are you looking to join the fastest growing area in the tax industry? Deloitte Tax LLP is looking for a Tax Senior to join their team. This position provides tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in partnership taxation, leading and mentoring teams, and advising on important tax and business issues.

### Responsibilities

The Tax Senior will have the following responsibilities:

- Perform detail-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information to complete their tax returns
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff
- Attend required Deloitte Tax LLP and sector-specific trainings
- Prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of various transactions

### Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week
- 3+ years’ experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
- Demonstrated experience with investment management or partnership taxation, Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and the tax compliance process for investment partnerships
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or must be willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications:
- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred qualifications include:

- Previous Big 4 experience or large CPA firm experience
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

### Salary

The disclosed range estimate for this role is $63,420 to $144,300. In addition, you may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
