Job Overview:

The Lead Attorney will be responsible for managing a high-volume personal injury caseload, collaborating with team members, negotiating with insurance companies, and maintaining positive client relationships. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload through the pre-litigation claim process
  • Communicate frequently with team members from multiple legal support departments
  • Meet with the Regional General Manager regularly for office development and strategic planning
  • Interact and negotiate with insurance companies
  • Communicate and maintain positive client relationships
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as required
  • Ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Active Bar license in Kansas
  • 1 year of civil practice experience
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Committed to providing superb responsive, and compassionate client service
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and tech-savvy
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal relations

Education & Certifications:

  • Active Bar license in Kansas
